I commented a few episodes ago that there was a reason we kept seeing the sword that Crixus took from Tiberius - it followed the arc that the same sword came back to haunt him - it took his life ultimately.

Kind of a mixed episode for me. What threw me right at the start was what happened to Ilithyia's second body slave who was in the wagon with her the previous ep. She was un-named but I was looking forward to seeing a bit more of her. I could not imagine Gannicus taking her out. Maybe he let her go?
