Agree.  What's worse, it's all a money kerfuffle over a modest box office series, and we don't even know the extent of the kerfuffling.

Loved the FNL reference in there.

Comments below remark on how Boyd is losing his empire, his decisions aren't so great, and it seems he can't trust anyone but Eva.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Hi, LizR. I put a long post at the top.  Maybe you could shed some light on the issue.

I have not yet seen Michelle do a single series of steps that would indicate
formal ballet training — it's all tap and broadway stuff. Can anyone affirm or counter this? Have I missed a scene?

Yes. And totally jealous of Michelle's cottage, too.

I watched all of Becker. It was never great, but also rarely bad. The idea of a cynic really working at a medical general practice office in the dregs of the South Bronx, with the strange and low-down characters… it just kept me interested in a benign way.  I think it was Ted Danson's best role.

As long as we're Deadwooding, there's Leon Rippy, Dayton Callie, John Hawkes (awesome if Sol and Seth squared off), Carradine (if you could get him to do it), Sanderson.

Apparently, early on in the show's run, Raylan shot a lot of people. There was some kind of viewer backlash, and Tim Olyphant took it to heart.  He got it down so that his character wouldn't kill more than 2 or three per season — which is still a lot, but not by Justified standards, or Elmore standards.

If I had that policy, it would at least keep my family out of my trailer. Unfortunately, then I could not go into my trailer, either.

Overcaffeinated and free associating.

Regarding the episode, Super Bowl audience, blah blah, whores and gushing blood, something something profiling and foiling Sherlock and Ennis, useful v. satisfying, the minutiae of grading shading, and so on.

Something happens to these guys.  Hard to watch Nathan Fillion in Castle after watching an episode of Firefly.

Word.  What a dumb thing to get put away for — in Federal prison, no less.  It never was going to accomplish anything, either.  Just another Hollywood privileged son who thought he could bend the rules and walk away.

How can you do or say anything related to football and not realize you started a fight?

Oughta live in the U.K., where darts, sheepdog competitions, and snooker get full coverage, with dramatic narration in various brogues.
Me, I just love low scoring, ties, and shootouts in a sport with a global following.  And I'm never more turned on then when some guy yells "Goal" for eighteen seconds until he's

Two channels = twice as many quality programs to cancel.

He's merely trying to point out, in a most neighborly way, that if you mowed and edged it every once in a while, people on the block would stop talking about it behind your back.

I was a young person in the 60s and we didn't like extreme stuff at all, because we were too busy tripping and dancing ourselves into a coma whilst listening to extraordinarily loud music during orgies.
