Kudos for Red (Rouge) and Raise the Red Lantern.  I find foreign movies a real struggle, they have to be really good for me for me to last and remember them, but those two had me riveted. I still have them and re-visit them.

Mysterion, you are right about Knauf's plan.  One other thing Knauf added, is that, unequivocally, Sofie  did not and was not trying to kill Jonesy.  She was in a frenzy and only shot him to keep him from dragging her back to the Carnivale.
