I think we're supposed to get that the Master/Mom is surprised and pleased.  But yeah, it's a tad strange.  I like the b&w with the girls, but the soft focus with Sutton doesn't quite work.

Nice review CPY.  Agree on all counts.  I think the cupcake ATM was a stroke of genius, even if you have to lower yourself nearly into magical realism to see it in reality, but it worked.
