Since this is a soap, don't discount the possibility that we may have already seen her mother, her real birth mother, and she's not the woman David Clarke married and who played mother to Amanda as she was growing up.

The long close up of her beat up face in front of the fire, the heat from the fire rising in front of her while she's talking to Nolan on the phone is priceless, all tagged with Florence doing her monumental thing. Very nice work.

That does seem like a serious plot hole. Why wouldn't a billionaire playing a very dangerous game with obvious killers not be upping his personal security to a small squad on 24/7 high-tech watch?

Probably. Since Madeleine Stowe has top billing, unless she quits, I can't see Victoria going down. Maybe she knew the hit was on and somehow will have her death be faked. Maybe she was even saved by Takeda (who probably released Fauxmanda as soon as Realmanda locked lips with Jack again).

Yes, Mae, I agree. She made so many mistakes in that one moment, potentially jeopardizing everything and leaving her in a weak and (we know) dangerous position. Plus she's all devastated about Sammy, then Jack and Fauxmanda. And she failed to dupe the evidence (as if nothing could possibly go wrong with putting a…

In terms of guest roles, how long before we see Bijou Phillips? I'll be there for that one.

Hate to sound all politico-speak, but being married to Don put Megan in the "one-percent," something her "Dark Shadows" working mate made plain recently. That just gets people's back up.

I think it's possible to do the big battle, the Hall, Rob and Talisa/Jeyne, a white walkers raid following Snow v. Halfhand, Theon gets whupped, Cersie/Sansa tie it on while the boys play — all in two episodes, but it will be exhausting.
