I don't know if that was what he was talking about, but the thing I found weird about GoT being referenced wasn't the probability of the kids being fans, because I can totally see Sam and Artie watching the show, what I found strange and out of place was that the reference came from out of nowhere and it didn't make

YES! I actually had to rewind that part because I thought I had missed some kind of context that led to that reference, but no, they just say it out of nowhere and it doesn't make the slightness sense.

While I'm enjoying it so far, they really need to start giving these characters dept.

No. The problem is that the 3 episodes of this version that have aired so far, are all about Simon and Carly, except that in the UK version they're all placed apart from each other (episodes 2, 3, and 10 in the UK version (in fact, the theme park episode didn't even have Carly in it in the original version)).

Yes. But they get stuck in the funeral instead of just beeping and cursing their way through it.
And as a massive fan of the UK version, I'm actually surprised so far. They REALLY need to focus on original jokes though, I cringe every time there's a re-done joke or dialogue.
I could deal with another kid playing Jay

Yeah, the psych tests thing is a big example of the patting himself in the back thing I mentioned. And it's interesting that he said that, and in a way he's right, he did make Abed be a jerk to everyone, especially after the winter hiatus, but all of those moments went absolutely nowhere. Like how Troy got angry at

The thing about season 3 is that it felt way too personal to me, to the point where it was so awkward and uncomfortable to even watch and enjoy. Abed shifted from a funny, interesting character to just a way for Dan to pat himself in the back for being the way he is, and by doing so the show became waaaaay too

Did anyone else notice there was a fly drawn on the top of the barrel? And a flies poster behind Walt during the whole "I vote this is a voting thing!" scene? Oh Rian.

Oh, I know the voters are a casket of morons. And for the record, I would also have liked to see Community sweeping more nominations, but judging from some reactions I've seen in some websites (not exclusively this one), you gotta admit that some people have very selective and hypocritical opinions on the Emmys: If

What I really love is how Community fans around the internet right now are all "lol, nobody cares about the Emmys anyway", but if it had snagged more big nominations they would be flipping their shit in self-importance and now the Emmys would become the most prestigious award in the history of the Jesus frosting world.

Maybe there are, but that's not me. I really like Community, but I recognize it's not perfect, but hey, I respect the people who do.
