Such a friggin fun movie. :-)

Do you like music? Have you The HBO series from several years ago that ran for two seasons "Flight of the Conchords?" This is the funniest musical duo you've ever heard and their show is basically a half hour musical sitcom in which they sort of play themselves. They break into hilarious songs and music videos without

With Colbert we were at least laughing in the face of peri-apocalyptic world events. Now it's just us and the horrible world. Damn.

I'm so happy I was able to go and see the show this summer before it ended. The post- Colbert Report world seems more gloomy. My favorite thing is how he tossed it back to Jon at the end. Perfect.

Classic classic moments. I loved how Stephen could barely keep it together.

Third Rock
That show was underrated. I agree. It had such incredibly hilarious moments. John Lithgow is a genius… and who knew that Joseph Gordon-Levitt would turn out to be such a hunk?

Isn't La Toya Jackson being right about something one of the seven signs of the apocalypse?

I am a physician and I can say that I actually have found Dan's advice to be sound on most occasions.
He basically believes that people will be happier in relationships if they act like adults and communicate like adults.

I agree about the Mrs. Akolitas
character in general, but I did find her somewhat funny and entertaining in this episode, if still cringe-worthy and overly-broad.

"One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. Schlemeel, schlemazel, hasenfeffer incorporated!"

Let's be honest, here, judging by the marketing, much of the targeted audience will be Johnny Deppophiles and not Michael Mann connoisseurs.

Ok, I'll do it
Has anyone mentioned the Simpsons? We like to have our cake and eat it to. We are rampant consumers, spoon fed by large corporations and we don't want it to change too much. Yet, we also want to be ironic and self-hating about it. Doesn't the Simpsons best display this sentiment?

Sounds pretty biblical to me.

Barney FIfe…

Ah… the SImpsons.

Nick Cage proves that there is no god.
"the notion that the saved are heading to a better place is cold comfort to people with both feet planted in the real world. "

I know that the characters are not perfect imitation of average people. That's why I watch the show. Real life issues do pop up, but it's so much more fun.

What a surprise. Maybe an SNL alumnus will win the Nobel.

Teabagging??

There is a god!!
Ok, not really,
