No stabbings to speak of, and the pregnant girls would just go to the school with the day care program. Toronto may be more likely to have a higher average though. But the fifth year victory lap thing is entirely voluntary if that adds a level of WTFness

I was the perfect age for this iteration of Degrassi, being 12 when it started. My viewing started to slip though around Paige dating a woman, and JT getting shot. I must say it's been fun living in Toronto and seeing the Degrassi people around. School shooter Rick is in a sketch group, or at least is very involved in

In Ontario, at least, it's pretty common to do a fifth year "victory lap," especially since until 10 years ago you literally had 5 years of high school.

If high school football in the States is anything like movies and television portray it as, than Canadian high school football is nothing like that. But my high school football team was considered pretty good and won Ontario championships so sometimes it was taken pretty seriously.

I just saw a free screening with a friend a few hours ago, and I don't remember the second character that's dying of consumption. This movie made me dumber.

That and people just wanting to see celebrities. I've been seeing so many out of focus, as far as their camera phone can get close ups of celebrities at the screenings with no commentary on the film. I feel like I'd go to more screenings but I'm poor and don't really want to wait in line for an hour to maybe get

I wonder if this was at the Scotiabank Theatre, because my boyfriend and I passed a group of people arguing about using your cell phone outside there this summer. The one guy was vehemently defending his right to text in the theatre, and when the other guy asked him why he couldn't just stay at home he said that the

It's actually still called that. One of the main campus buildings looks exactly like a high school with lockers lining every wall. It's… unsettling…
