I think that Vince may have thrown that in as a red herring, to make us believe Hank will die. He knows the cliches he's playing with, I think. With that said, I don't think there's any believable way Hank makes it out of that alive. The only thing I can think of is he's left for dead and crippled, again.

Maybe so, but neither of them should've even made it back to the truck. It took me completely out of the gunfight, deflated all tension, it was a very hacky thing to do.

But the money's untraceable. There's no way to really tie it to any sales of narcotics or even to Walt. It's circumstantial at best.

Ya, how about no.

Because that standoff was ridiculous.

That's true, but Walt since then has been so very cautious. I know his greed is supposed to know no bounds and I understand he felt that Jesse would never even consider helping Hank but he's thought it was a possibility before, I just don't see how under any circumstance he would confess like that, especially over the

I knew the second Walt called the nazis and when he said don't come and he didn't hear any sort of acknowledgement.

Ummmmm, I think he's referring to the fact that neither Gomie or Hank were completely mown down. There's no chance in hell either of them should be alive. Hell even Walter should probably be dead. At least for me that's the major problem I have with the ending.

Briefly.

I don't know. I really hate Hank. He's as manipulative as Walter but they serve different ends. Ideally, for me, Walter ends up dead but Hank never gets the satisfaction of actually "catching him".

But it's also not like he would tell the whole Letterman audience that his character is going to die before the finale.

Oh ya that was definitely what Todd's uncle was going for. They never had any intention of not opening fire on the coppers.

Maybe so, but there's no way with the hellfire that was brought onto them when they were in the open that they should be among the living.

I made this joke already, but I think todd's uncles and their buddies momentarily morphed into stormtroopers. Gome was hit, I think, but in all honesty, both Gomie and Hank should've been mown down.

For me this episode dropped a whole letter grade because there's no way that both Gomie and Hank would not have been at least badly hurt. They were clear in the open when the firing started. That's some stormtrooper aim Todd's uncles and their buddies have there.

@avclub-6188d67c7355d4166b6d12db43485400:disqus Way to generalize there.

@avclub-ff8ee1d5c84a9aede7a54344151622cd:disqus Maybe most people can't, but I can, so it still bothers me. Lighting using digital video is still incredibly hard to get right, oh and it enables people to shoot handheld far easier which well, I hate shaky cam.

He may have said no, when he wasn't going to be acting in it. We have no idea what this deal really includes. It wouldn't surprise me if in a couple of months time Affleck is "chosen" as the director of the Justice League movie.

That's my problem with it really. I like Affleck the director and dislike Affleck the actor.

That's great fucking casting. I would watch the hell out of Karl Urban as Batman.
