Essentially, isn't that what the comic books already do?

But Matt Damon as Aquaman? Aquaman needs to be an actor with Thor like stature. He also needs one hell of a voice. Neither of which Damon possesses.

Did you even watch the Nolan Batman movies? Because I'm pretty sure everybody thinks Bale really made a good batman. Besides the voice of course.

But he would make a great Live by Night movie. He should really just go into directing full time. Occasionally act in his own movies, like Eastwood.

So what we're dicks because we're coping with the verdict through humour?

Pretty much sums up Heidecker's career right there.

@avclub-4bdef5fb6ba59b1bfe0db68275c452ab:disqus I actually read an article a while back where he actually did kind of say that he wants to do work that his kids can watch when they're older and be proud of.

Chris, Badlands was a great fucking movie. So you officially have no idea what the fuck you're talking about. Now you're proving your bias against Malick.

@Chris Conley Now Chris your own bias is failing you. You say we can't get behind action films, we list many, you say that's still not good enough. So clearly your bias is stopping you from realizing that we actually like action movies and that many of us are actually fanboys as well as cinephiles.

@Chris Conley Chris, we can't get behind shitty action movies with shoddy editing and unwatchable camera work. Now give us something that actually, you know is good, like say The Raid: Redemption then we'll talk.

@Chris Conley Ummm Chris, Michael Bay has said that what attracted him to the material was it's Fargo and Pulp Fiction type quality. So if Michael Bay read the original article and thought that, it's only natural others would too.

@Chris Conley @John89 Oh also The Raid: Redemption, minus the late Roger Ebert of course.

@Chris Conley That's exactly what he did.

@Chris Conley And your opinion is biased and doesn't account for shit. Moving on.

@Chris Conley First of all nobody calls it Onion AV Club. Except people who've never been to the site. Second of all give it up. You're not changing anyone's opinion and you're just making yourself look like a pathetic fanboy with too much time on their hands. Which is fine, you're like the rest of us, but don't you

Not really, he was never buff when he was a wrestler. He was almost pudgy. It was only once he got to Hollywood that he started really working on his physique

I think he's doing a bit more than wolfing down some Weider.

Do you know michael bay? Can you prove to us he's not a douchebag?

@The UMB Unfortunately, Shaloub's character isn't just based on Schiller, apparently it's a composite character that includes Griga. So it sure sounds like they're trying to draw Lugo and Doorbal as sympathetically as they can.

Michael, it's ok. Chill out buddy.
