Honestly, the show was running on fumes last season. The seams were already beginning to show and this season just accelerated the process.

As somebody who's always just tolerated the dean, I can tell you I mind quite a bit. It could ultimately be what drives me from the show. I've always found him just as grating as Chang and always felt he works best in small doses.

I think somebody should slip the black characters in this show the konami code. They need all the help they can get.

The biggest reason is that TV cannot do high-concept sci-fi the way movies can. Most sci-fi movies are huge big budget spectacles and sci-fi television just cannot compete.
