I used to love Cloud Cult unconditionally and interviewed Craig Minowa for my college radio station and he was a very nice guy. I've cooled to them somewhat now, after "Light Chasers" and "Feel Good Ghosts," but I still think "Advice from the Happy Hippopotamus" and "The Meaning of 8" are solid records.

Basically dark and gay just about sums it up. Oh, and Midnighter is even more brutal than Batman and has no qualms about killing people or letting people die as he tries to stop his villains.
