I loved Hugo and thoroughly enjoyed The Muppets. Hope they continue doing well.

That whole montage of Melies working was among the best scenes of the year. It is a fantastically done film.

It's pretty faithful to the book, and manages to pull all those elements together in the end.

This was rated higher than Deathly Hallows - Part 1, which makes me question the all around validity of AV Club commentary.

I think I typed the wrong word.

I'd agree that nothing DeLillo has written tops "Libra."

Sure, like Anne Rice swears Claudia isn't a stand in for her daughter.

This is a really great book, I agree. Especially the first part.

Williams is not among the AV Club's strongest writers.

Though I've been hearing mixed things altogether about this book, recognition has to be given where recognition is due: namely in Chip Kidd's wonderful design for this book. http://youtu.be/aUHck0FViac

Now I'm sort of interested in Ratner's ideas about hetero-ing up "Wicked."

Harrison Ford could be doing boring amusement park matinees dressed in the typical Indy costume and I'd probably watch it.

@avclub-1e850f6bef0bc36ca1f64e95ff1cbd2e:disqus Try reading E. L. Doctorow — specifically "Ragtime" and "The Book of Daniel."

Nice to see Orlean got over her drug addiction and put her Internet porn days behind her.

I thought it was more in-line with Robert Olen Butler's "Hell." Which was also…unfulfilling.

Dear AV Club,

Actually, it is first person narrated, and the singular voice becomes more distinguished as the book goes along. You know, to show the separation of the brothers and blah blah blah.

I agree!

By the way, AV Club: this is the first really interesting book you've reviewed in weeks. Months, maybe.
