liked for getting together with old friends.  nothing reorients you to who really are like being around old mates, i find.

wow good for you, that sounds crazy.  lol I can see the disapproving blue bloods clucking their tongues, stroking their beards, and wondering "What's to be done with this @avclub-6beb5f589a9fd04c21fcd50db3d9c80c:disqus ?"

hell yes to Zodiac! truly a masterful example of the procedural and it has genuine moments of tension and terror.  every role is expertly cast and it looks beautiful, save for the few green-screened San Francisco scenes.

fuck, this is the ONE lapse in my Batman: The Animated Series viewing.  I have Sub-Zero and the amazing Mask of the Phantasm plus the whole series but for some reason, i could never get into Supes and just felt fanboyish rage that people could like Superman when Batman was the superior hero.  Anyways, Sava's review

yea i played a shit ton of Metro: Last Light this weekend and you arent kidding, even bleaker than watching MTV programming.  I gotta say, the naked ladies was gratutous, even by video game standards.  I mean lap dances, nip slips and  straight up sex?  I'm not complaining, but I don't see the point since minors

dude, Driver and To Live and Die in LA are the shit.  totally agreed, that would be a powerful combo!

Fuck Yes! what a director, i defy anyone in the world to name a director more suited to the western male psyche, maaaybe Pekinpah

listen to this man people, he ain't just whistling' dixie.

seriously!  I want to watch them rock out underground dammit.  I was at the Natasha Schneider benefit show in LA when she passed and they were filming the shit out of it cuz Tenacious D and a bunch of other famous guests joined them onstage.  I have never heard anything about that show being released on DVD, which

oh shit, happy birthday to Josh then! I wonder what kind of crazy rockstar gifts he gets for his birthday.  i like to imagine its shit like a taxidermy Giraffe, a solid gold handgun, or lots of rare guitars.  time to go blast some QOTSA and wake up the neighbors…

ok, sorry about that.  FWWM = Fuck Wesandersonnut67's Wife and Mother

the rug is not the issue.

good call, FWWM is its own thing and also adds some nice layers to the series in retrospect. I want to see the fabled directors cut of FWWM that has more series regulars and fills in some useful details that Lynch felt he needed to cut.  still, its a pretty good horror movie in its own right.

you know you wrote a great song when you can split it in 2 and sell it for even more money.

Brutal Legend.

fuck that is an awesome series of connected videos.  I really hope they release these on DVD someday.  The way these guys work, it will probably take 30 years.  I am still waiting for them to release that damn "Shot at the bottom of a mine" concert they advertised on the "Over the Years and Through the Woods" DVD.

you see Starky Love? This is what happens when you rush to form an opinion. Now you missed out on the sweet puppy lecture…

me too Cliffy.  damn that couch.  hold me…

fuck yes, you get all the likes. Badalamenti is so eclectic and has a great ear.  He also busts a siiiick extra trippy dub song on the Lost Highway soundtrack:

pretty interesting.  I would appreciate it you would further explain your interpretation of how the film doubles back to explain stuff on the show.  i am so ready to go pop in the FWWM dvd and watch it again!!
