XTC should have gotten more attention here in the US. I tend to enjoy many of their songs, but "Respectable Street" is my favorite and is probably the most played of their songs on my iPod. Plus, Simple Minds have some great songs other than "Don't You Forget About Me". Of those lesser known songs, "Alive and Kicking"

Friday: Ruthless People with Danny Devito and Judge Reinhold. That's one of my personal favorites. Also: Stan Helsing. The best thing about this movie were Diora Baird's boobs.

Saturday:
I rewatched both Falling Down (another favorite of mine) and Disclosure with Michael Douglas. I love Falling Down, but Disclosure

Citizen Kane, Kids, and Magnolia
Citizen Kane bored me to tears but I still would recommend it to someone who loves film because it's a good blueprint on how to make a movie considering how well shot it is yet the actors and the story left me feeling cold.

Comedy Central has really changed. It's like all they show now is Tosh.O, Futurama, and Scrubs on a 24-hour rotation. Remember The Kids in the Hall, TV Funhouse, Gerhard Reinke's Wanderlust, Upright Citizens Brigade, Strangers with Candy, Insomniac with Dave Attell, That's My Bush? Man, were those the days.

The Daytime Desi Montage
My grandmother watches a lot of Spanish television. One of the shows she watched adult actors playing children in elementary school. When I watched this episode when it originally aired, I laughed so hard because of how spot-on the man-children looked in that scene.

About Davis' band
Do I have a case of being a cynical asshole or did his new band sound like shit?
