It's worse than you could ever imagine. Wait until act 3.

Jennifer Jason Leigh was one of my favorite actresses in the 90s (Georgia! Hudsucker Proxy! Mrs. Parker! Single White Female!) and feel she's been long deserving of an Academy Award… but if she wins an Oscar for "The Hateful Eight", it will be a bittersweet victory. It's a terrible role that becomes increasingly

Re Pauline Kael/Candice Bergen vs. Ali MacGraw: For that classic slam alone, I'd been wanting to see "T.R. Baskin" for an eternity.  It's never been released on video.

Team Jennifer Jason Leigh.

The Comeback is missing, too.

You forgot Meg Tilly, who's a terrific writer.

Trivia: This episode was directed by 70-something Ed Bianchi, who directed the wonderfully bad Lauren Bacall slasher movie "The Fan" in 1981.

Meanwhile, Revenge rarely gets lower than a B/B-.

Hilary Swank is hard to take in anything, post Chechnya.

Universal also buried a wonderful science fiction/comedy with Cindy Williams, Fred Ward and Harry Dean Stanton called "UFOria" in 1981. It was released on VHS, but that's all.

This show is total crap, but every time I try to turn it off, Vera Farmiga lures me back in.

You are not alone.

I love the way the state of Amy's Corolla matches up with how big of a mess she is.  The tape job on that front bumper became a hilarious running joke.

Yet they gave "Ringer" a full season.

I've been consistently enjoying 30 Rock this season, but aside from Dr. Spaceman, I thought this episode was a total dud.  D for me.

Who else is thisclose to giving up on "Revenge"?  This season has stunk all around.  The only element that's kept me going is Jennifer Jason Leigh but even she isn't bringing any new spark.

I look forward to her appearances.  She's a fantastic comic actress but they gave her very little to do last night.  Her 1st appearance in the 1st season was genius because she had the material.  I don't think she had surgery exactly, just an unflattering hair-do.
