The one letdown about Florence is that if you've been to other cities in Italy or other parts of Europe, it's sort of a disappointment.  As much as I wanted to see David, I wasn't about to stand in line for four hours to do so.  We wound up bouncing from there and just going to a beach resort on our way to Spain.
