Don't forget "Warrior". That movie was great. I cry like a little kid every time I watch the ending.
Funny thing is, mbs and JVS never post anymore.
I was and Upper East Side guy. Now I'm in Jersey but when I go back, it's usually to the E. Village or BK.
I spent seven days in the emergency room and another seven in the psych ward. Seriously. I had a bad reaction to my meds and basically had a seizure and went nuts.
I actually laughed at that. Well done and nicely played.
I ate some beer battered fish sticks from the supermarket last week. They were good but Jesus, the amount of grease left in the pan was revolting.

I think designers doing clothing lines for stores like Target or Wallmart is pretty cool. Also, I'm a complete Marshall's whore.
FUCK IT! WE'LL SHOOT HIM LIVE!
I seriously didn't think they still had the fillet o fish or that anyone under the age of 87 actually ate them.
"And it especially can't match the novel's climax and coda, which should be less about Gage running around and more about Louis finally losing his mind and being destroyed by evil."
Exactly.

What initially drew me in to the series was how strange the style of the first book was. The, as @avclub-0f0d67e214f9fef69b278e3d08114da9:disqus mentions, the next two books pick up and shoot off like rockets. I really disliked the 4th book and quit the series but I just read "Wind Through the Keyhole" and really…

I don't have a wife and kids but the way the loss of a child is described in the novel is devastating. I think King really experienced a personal moment of fear, dread that every parent must face. If you have children, I would not blame you at all for putting that book down and staying up at night, even before the…

@avclub-f1cabca05a9a64dd5900cf947a6792ca:disqus There is no possible way to express how brilliant your "Shining" response was. I rarely say this, but damn I laughed out loud. Well done.

What the movie really fails to succeed at is making Gage (or any other reanimated thing) as creepy and horrifying as the book did. The things Gage says and the way he acts are terrifying with only a paragraph or two. The movie completely removes that.
