Roosevelt Island is a trip.  There's no real signs for anything, just "CHINESE RESTAURANT" OR "LAUNDRY".  And you have to take a shuttle around.  And the subway stop is like 2 miles underground.  And they light up the ruins of the old asylum at night (which actually looks pretty cool.)  Strange place but very…
