Exactly.  Take the letters in BIG BIRD and arrange them alphabetically.  Then count them, divide by 3, multiply by EXACTLY 57.2 and subtract however many days are left until the next major lunar event.  Standing at 60 degree angle, move your left arm in a PERPENDICULAR fashion across the nearest non-exterior wall.  In

Despite the wonderful CGI and 3D, I don't think I'd re-watch it again.  Like you, I seriously did not like the movie as a whole.  Getting to look at the pretty pictures once was enough.  But then again, I'm sort of stubborn and foolish like that sometimes.

I didn't care for the film but it did use 3D wonderfully.  Even the credit sequence looked beautiful.  Everything worked together and some of the effects were really beautiful.  But I agree that they sort of let most of it go once the 3rd act kicked in.

I thought both "Tron:Legacy" and "Prometheus" looked absolutely stunning in 3D (despite how much I disliked the latter).  Both were textbook examples in how you balance depth-of-field, color and lighting.

I have to agree with @avclub-7b854e1c9778aa8ff839837766cf71d3:disqus - you really don't ever give up NYC property unless you get offered a dump truck full of cash.  My parents still kick themselves for passing up buying an apartment at a real good price in the 80's.  Hell, you don't even give up a good place to RENT

The old adage was that certain types of people wouldn't travel past 14th street.  I think that mark has shrunk considerably.  I have a friend who barely travels across either side of Houston.

The first thing I thought of when I saw this article was Queensbridge and Marcy.  I've been through the QB area but never inside an apartment.  The area actually looked pretty decent.  My ex grew up in the South Bronx and her mom's housing building was just fine.  It wasn't a Park Ave penthouse but I've been in East
