Sandy Duncan?
Sandy Duncan?
Nah, man. That's cool. Go all out on a first date. I always freak out about where to go on first dates usually going beyond means. For the most part, my dates have pretty much said "You know, we could have just gotten drinks at Applebees or something." Going out to nice places is one of the best perks of being in…
I'll give you something to Darabont. MY LARGE, ERECT PENIS.
Yup. Every once in a while I'll get a flurry of responses to posts that are 3 years old.
The original The Haunting was absolutely great. One of the best horror films ever made.
Yes, but how many drafts?
She's a God fearing good Christian. The only organ she plays is at church. You filthy heathen.
I think you're thinking of the other Frank Darabont. The one who invented velcro. Plays the organ.
Balthazar? Damn. That's pretty high end for a first date.
The only movie I've ever walked out on was Robin Hood: Men in Tights. It took all of about 8 minutes for my friends and I to realize it sucked.
Well played, my friend. Well played.
Exactly but Sherzinger is about 500 times hotter.
I first heard Brian Eno's 1/1 on that station. It was almost like an out of body experience. The cool thing about the web site is they have the track listings for each program so even if you don't know it, you can look it up. I've found a ton of great stuff that way.
I think Harmonie Korine gets more flack around here than Larry Clark. 'Bully' was interesting in that I don't think I've seen a more realistic portrayal of repressed homosexual behavior masked as violence than in this movie. Like 'Kids' it did a wonderful job of showing the reality of how fucked up and destructive…
It was awkward when the cop on the motorcycle pulled up next to us while I was chugging a bottle of vodka, but after that the night went pretty well.
I really loved 'Kids' and while it's probably not the best first date movie, it's something that at least could lead to some debate or conversation afterwards. A lot of these examples seem to revolve around people that don't want to think or be exposed to different (albeit awkward) situations. If the person you are…
I have a good friend who watched 'Last Tango In Paris' with his parents. The worst I can come up with is watching 'Mall Rats' with a girl I was completely in love with. She liked the movie but we never moved closer to each other than the ends of the couch.
The normal kind.
Patrick Bateman, folks!
I grew up in the early and mid 80's and I clearly remember the classic rock (sorry "oldies") stations. It as a 7 or 8 year old kid, it was the first time I heard the Beatles, the Kinks, the Rolling Stones and a ton of other music from the 50's and 60's. Today, those stations are dead and gone unless you have…
