Yeah, I was hoping that was left out of the movie and thankfully it was. Probably would've emptied the theater.

Henceforth all new comments will be posted as replies to you. That should make it easier.

Yep. Also, I contend that Terminator 2 is the end-all be-all of action movies.

Right on about the Mulholland Drive scene, and with the assessment of Lynch as a horror director. That scene and the "hidden camera" scenes from Lost Highway, to mention just two standout examples from many, are deeply unsettling as much for what they imply as what they show.

Right? And I love how they were nice enough to wait while she called the police.

I want to go to Hong Kong to get "mugged" now. Sounds fun as shit.

It only feels weird if you forget to shave your palm.

I have to admit to liking that movie. But see, I liked it nine years ago. If it came out now, I wouldn't even bother. You're right to blame it for its encouragement of non sequitur humor, though. It, Anchorman, and Dodgeball were all Summer of '04 Hits.

I've also noticed a lot of commercials using this kind of humor, with varying, but usually lame, results.

He's just spouting off.

My concern, and not to over-think it, is that the kind of random-ass humor that Anchorman excelled at was still kind of beginning to be a thing in 2004. At this point, it was a thing.

Oh. That Punctuation…

*Deletes asinine comment. Goes back to work.*

True. I agree that as a standalone episode, it was good. And the zombie attack, even with its logical flaws, was one of the more exciting ones they've staged recently.

1. A man walks onto the set of an action movie carrying an air conditioner and no one in the cast or crew seems to notice him until he swings the air conditioner at the film's director. Are the cast and crew:

Every horrible thing in the world falls below those movies in its horribleness.

Yes. I mean, it has Orson Welles for crying out loud, and one of the Autobots said "shit." It was awesome.

Let's not forget The Fountain. I can't imagine that testing well, but I did like it.

It's dumb in itself, but that the downvoting is apparently anonymous is pussy bullshit.

If people start just downvoting shitty comments instead of replying in kind this place is going to be boring as hell. Just thousands of lonely, downvoted firsties.
