Judge's table seem a little harsh to anyone else?  Particularly, with regards to Ty and Ed's decision to pre-slice the proteins.  Granted, it's not what you want to do for all the reasons the team AND judges offered up.  I can totally understand that.  Still, they were down a man, which is undisputed, and had a

I had no idea The Salt Lick had been around 100 yrs or so.  It's good stuff for sure but I've never heard it referred to as the best bbq in Texas - fwiw, I think that's the show paying it some lip service.

Kid can drum, amirite?

Weekend In The City is really great.  As a start-to-finish listen, I enjoy it more than Silent Alarm.

I do think it's the weakest of the three by far.  There are some nice tracks, they just don't hang together for me as an album.  "Letter To My Son" is pretty awesome tho.

What do you think it means?  Or are you talking to @avclub-454a7bfd685393329597fdb7a92b7969:disqus ?

I need to start watching Breaking Bad.  So behind …

I found the first season a little challenging as well to stick with but I'm glad I did.  Despite a slow adoption on my part, MM is one of my three or four favorite shows and I can't wait for it to resume.

Yeah, totally.  By the time I got to S3 on DVD, it took me a measly 36 hour period to gorge through it.  S5, on DVD, I watched in one sitting with my roommate.  Enjoy!

Oh man.  I shouldn't have wikipedia'd Jeff Smith.  There's a section there about sexual abuse allegations and settlement.  :(

When I was a kid, I used to really enjoy watching The Frugal Gourmet for some reason.  I guess Jeff Smith, or whatever his name is, really reminded me of a/my grandfather and I took some comfort in that.

He is annoying.  Even more annoying, though he is not a chef but merely a TV food personality, is that shmuck on Man v. Food.  Off the top of my head, he is the TV personality I loathe the most.

The opening credits were fantastic!

I really hope they get around to introducing Calculus at some point.  He was, along w/ the Captain, my favorite character in the stories!

For what he represents with all the characters he played, I don't think there will ever be another Jimmy Stewart.  Maybe that's a superfluous statement but who would be comparable?  I'm sure someone would offer up, like, Tom Hanks or something.  But, in my mind at least, there's a huge huge gap there between the two

A mysterious curse, with its own set of logic and etc, would be interesting.  As long as it didn't get too Final Destinationy or Ringy.

I also second that.  With my penis.

The Dougie.

Let me help …

This movie is a holiday institution for me.  I love it.  Alot.
