What you say is true.

Pitt's good in Moneyball but I didn't think he was great (i.e., awards-worthy).  I thought he was better in The Tree of Life.  Here, they recognize him for both so I guess we're square.

Wow.  They laughed at that?  That IS depressing.  The movie is kinda strange, as you say.  Curtis Hanson, right?  I thought he did a good job but, definitely, that selection of director along w/ Kim Basinger as Em's mom pushed the movie in the direction of hey-lets-get-alot-of-ppl-to-watch-this.  I enjoyed it though.

For me, it's definitely "Shook Ones Pt. II."  It's still mind-blowingly good even when you listen to it now.  ….. I remember watching 8 Mile in the theater and hearing the music from the beginning of that song getting piped in for the MC battle scenes, just getting really excited by that and wondering how many other

Co-sign the suckage of "Quiet Storm."  After listening to him on "Survival of the Fittest" and "Shook Ones Pt. II", I can't get my mind around him rapping about building jungle gyms for the little ones or whatever he goes on about in "Quiet Storm."

Maggie has the Yellow Fever!

Zomfry?  Too unhealthy???

What if he shot him in the butt-ocks?

She resembled a young Margot Tenenbaum.

At least Andrea didn't shoot Daryl this time.

FACT.  Shane didn't invite me to his birthday party.  On purpose.

He shoots them and then gives them to a famished Mike Tyson.

I'm more surprised he didn't walk up to Sophia and try to pet her.  Isn't that what happened the last time?

Celebratory zombie boil?  With corn and potatoes?

World War Z mentions the development of some type of anti-zombie martial art.  It would be pretty sweet if TWD borrows a page from that book and Glen becomes a zombie-killing martial artist.

Unspoken twist: the lady who feeds the zombies chickens has an underdeveloped brain that cannot differentiate between birds of said type and little girls.

Absolutely.  As meandering as this season has felt at times, it has had a much better/meaner set of teeth than the first season.

I hear what you are saying here.  Though I think the Harry Potter movies do a much better job of that, for me at least.  And I say that as a 32yo who grew up during the Star Wars 80s heyday.

Let's get him a jacket then.

I straight up LOL'd when she started crying at the rodeo.
