Jerky for everyone!

Lori is exactly as Zach says she is.  It's really annoying.  IMO, her dynamic with Shane is easily the worst part of the show from the very outset.  Now that Carl got jacked, I'm sure it's going to be at a fever pitch for the rest of the season.  Stuff to look fwd to!

TLK just didn't hit me in the same way.  I was in early HS when it came out and it just didn't touch me.  Watching The Iron Giant in college did, however.  I can't really explain why.

"becuz of you" x 20

Don't know if it's been mentioned but Bonnie and Clyde?

I echo Kyle's love for the ending of Se7en.  Fincher's film set the example.  What it's done is going to be puzzled over and studied and followed … forever.

Iconic!

McDermott's willingness to engage this crazy burned man in the tunnel with a surprisingly frank and unwarranted confession of his own issues as a man, husband, father, whatever, etc. was just strange.  I mean, imagine, you are running in the park.  A creepy man, for the second time in a short amount of time, follows

Boy in the Bubble is great.

Too soon?

Seriously, man, tons of ppl love Graceland.  They may be older than the ppl you associate with.  But they're still people!!!

Firstbusterbuster?

Yeah, I really dislike Bill Simmons, though I can't really offer forth any basketball writer that I think is that much better.  The whole lot of them that work the national scene are really hit or miss.  Though they don't do print stuff, I'll take Hubie Brown and most of the TNT guys all day though.  Also, if you're

Yeah, those movies work for me.  Groundbreaking?  No.  But better than most of the shlock that comes out around H'ween.

Bat Papi is the OB of this shit.

"My favorite reference to the originals (and this had to be pointed out
to me) was that apparently in the stores, Doyle forgot at one point
where Watson's old war wound was, and it switched from the leg to the
shoulder — hence the reveal that his limp is psychosomatic, and he was
never shot in the leg."  WOW.  Didn't

Salon had an interesting article about Simon that seems to have an opinion on where he stands in the rock canon.

Deep cut love for "Crazy Love, Vol. II."
