Agree w/ TNR. Roberts's Eric Brockovich and Crowe's Gladiator Oscars fall in that category for me as well (Crowe, in particular, was excellent in a number of other roles tho)
Sandra Bullock = Julie Roberts = actresses that pretty much bore me to tears and frankly don't do much for me as eye candy either
The (Keeping It) Real Ghostbusters?
As a homage to the modern classic The Big Hit, I offer "Ghost Buster Buster Buster."
You mean Craig Perverson?
Ouija Board + Robin Williams = Jumanji-style movie where all hell breaks loose
Seriously. In the F&G universe, that pretty much makes him a jock. And not even a cool jock who would be nice to ppl, like the guy Cindy Sanders dates right before Peter.
Agreed, his sweet-but-resigned-to geekdom provides the perfect balance to Peter and Nate(?)'s social insecurity about their status. He does such a fantastic job in that show.
I had to come and find this WWF post so I could *like* it under the new comments system becuz it's pretty much my favorite.
Whatever, man, drink a Lone Star and chill the fuck out.
Ok, maybe not readily . His stuff shouldn't be remade. But I think Fincher would be an interesting choice.
I'd readily watch a Kubrick flick remade by David Fincher.
Thanks. Maybe I'll give it a proper look sometime. The younger brother of a good friend of mine had suggested it to me. So I had watched a few random episodes here and there, cuz - like I said - I like me some horror-themed stuff every once in a while (it's like having a sweet tooth, I guess). At the time, what I…
I'm rather surprised to see Supernatural cited as quality here. I feel like I've seen 2-3 random episodes and at no point did I ever consider wanting to make that irregular viewing more of a regular habit. And this coming from someone who enjoys ghost stories and shit.
I'll co-sign that. He's like a less zany Ben Stiller to me. I grow weary of them within a minute or two of their appearance in many of their films.
Hope Conan doesn't get the boot from TBS. Have been watching him pretty regularly since '99 through all his iterations - and the guy still cracks me up. Outside of my circle of friends tho, I don't know too many other ppl who watch him. And, even our viewership is almost entirely web-based.
^ Totally does. It may even whip a mountain goat's ass.
