I actually think Desi is even more horrible….at least Marni is marginally self-aware.

She's played by a 30 something woman who had a baby.
Some of of us have tits like that WITHOUT a kid. Um, good for you and your pert perfect boobs!
That line made me dislike him and the writers. That seemed less an attempt to make him complex—flawed, not a knight in shining white armor—than a fucking creep condescending to Chandra, who represents exploited virtue in this show. And he was digging at his feet too.
Why is he an idiot? Because he didn't get away from the crazy "niece" dude right away? How far could he get in jail without fear of constant reprisal?
The fact that he has the bloody photo of the "niece" means he likely killed her. I would not have been able to sleep after someone produced a mysterious crime scene photo like that.
"You know what I resent? Attractive young women telling me I remind them of their fathers." - John, while gouging his fucking feet and when Chandra was being nice. Disgusting.
Like what? (I'm not a horror fan because mostly I don't have the nerve for this stuff.)
The second one succeeded in making me uncomfortable to live in a city and use underground public transit, and the hunt scene…it was pretty effective.
To reduce crime, unemployment, and violence the rest of the year, specifically with the elimination of the "underclass" and the sating of rich sociopaths,
Enh, the rule still holds. I really hate that it's okay to tickle kids. For many people it truly is just a kosher way to inflict abuse/humiliate someone. It's something people mock when they themselves probably don't like being tickled.
I wish your comment was on the front page.
It's hyperbole.
" Kirk Baltz, as Officer Marvin Nash, has to project palpable fear and
bewilderment using only his eyes, in one of those indelible but
thankless turns that almost never gets recognized."
