Andy's (or more probably Chris Pratt's stunt double) did some incredible physical stuff - both those dumpster dives (literally!) cracked me up.

Andy's entrance song was hilarious and sweet. I'll have to watch again just for that.

"a celebratory plate of… I think you call them waffles"

Nothing says science fiction adventure like trade embargo….

Well, it was Fred Astaire. But yeah.

I've never in my life seen one episode of The Good Wife, but have wanted to for awhile because I like Josh Charles (who I've only seen on Sports Night). That clip was kinda great, and now, thanks to Ms. Gasteyer and the AVC, I'm going to check it out. One of these days.

I don't know if this counts as "in school", but it certainly counts as an example of "boy, I'm a ton older than most people here."
In 1972, our entire English class (I'm sure with permission slips) went to see an our-class-only screening at a local theatre of "Deliverance". I was a freshman in high school, maybe

There's a wonderful novel by Tim Rumsey, called Pictures from a Trip. It's not about American history, not really; it's about fossils. ANYway, a line from it is "Jefferson bought the American West from Napoleon and sent Lewis and Clark to check it out." And honestly, THAT is a hell of an HBO series, as far as I'm

Nah, the movie will be about him selliing the Louisiana Territory. Counting to three million could take two hours.

Devito already played Napoleon, remember? Or at least his character in Get Shorty did. Very funny posters for it, as I recall.

Okay, John Teti, whoever you are. This one made me laugh. I mean, O'Neal-newswire style laughing. Well done.
Extra points for not mentioning Tom Cruise at all. You probably knew I'd do it for you.

I have a lot of favorite Pryor bits, but my favorite has to be a Tonight Show gig he did, right after he came back after the fire. He seemed a little subdued as he sat there, seemed not quite up to being there at all. Johnny asked how he was doing, Pryor said "okay" and at one point Johnny touched him on his arm,

And… who did Cain marry? There wasn't anyone else around. For one possible answer, see the 1974 George C. Scott movie The Savage is Loose…
Also starring Trish Van Devere. And some guy who plays their son. That's the cast. You figure it out.

The kid is six, he was confused. He really meant "kill all the Pandas". There, no problem now.

I agree with you on Wesley, conor, but to me Lorne was a better example. Wesley was ALWAYS going to be a standout, partly because of Denisoff and partly because he was embedded in that universe to begin with.
Lorne shows up as a one-time demon of the week (as I recall it and I might be wrong) but then becomes

Good for you - some of us learned the words "eats paste".

And one of the reasons Poehler is so good, and IS a national treasure, is that she works well with all the cast, and never (unless it's some Hollywood secret that we've never heard of) pushes for Leslie to be in any more of the story or scenes than she's needed in.
(And though I've never met Amy Poehler, I do know

Good point, Nibbles. I just read How I Live Now, and… jeez. I didn't like the book much, and the main reason was.. that girl, with her life and family and adopted country collapsing all around her, only saw all of that in terms of how often she could have sex with her cousin.
I mean. War-torn countries with added

No one will read this probably, but…
I just saw this yesterday at the two dollar theater, and thought it was very good. B+ for sure. I loved Gyllenhaal's little facial tic, indicating that he's a pretty wound-up, traumatized individual, and liked his cop persona (that is, he seemed to inhabit the job well). Jackman

Pretty sure if Jaden can become a karate expert in record time, he can be up to speed on jet fighter piloting right quick.
With … montage!!!
