For me, season 2 was when all tension left the show. Killing Doakes fully cemented Dexter's plot armor.

God damn. I disagree with you so hard that it hurts me.
Shhhhh. We don't talk about the first season of Parks and Rec.
Yeah, that subplot was totally weird. I didn't like the vibe of maybe Pam being into him.
Oh, when Micheal Scott left that show became so endless, up until the last season. It's actually got a pretty solid finale.
It really is. Love the Warcraft games for what they are but their stories are basically a greatest hits of fantasy shit.
Far too many talented people involved in this shit.
Having First Class ranked number 1 is the right call.
Woof. Okay, probably just going to wait for the third and read it in one go if it turns out good.
I didn't even make the connection between the two but that makes a ton of sense. now.
Ready Player One is legit awful. I wouldn't recommend it at all. Lame, shitty Mary Sue main character, fan fiction quality prose, fetishizing nerd culture to an annoying degree, and just all around boring.
Have you ever read any of Russel's other stuff?
God damn. I don't even dislike Name of the Wind that much (I mean, it's okay. I didn't see what the fuss was about when I read it, but it was fine, I guess) but your take down is is pretty accurate. Kvothe is just boring in general.
Is it? I've heard that it seems more like a side story than anything else. I've been holding off on reading it because of that reason.
The Sparrow is so. fucking. good. That book is everything that sci fi should be. Incredible characters, beautifully written, simultaneously heartbreaking and uplifting.
Very similar path for me too. Me and some friends watched the movie for shits and giggles one night. It is, of course, horrendous and awful. However, a few of my friend there were fans of the cartoon and swore up and down that it was totally worth watching.
I keep seeing people say it's one of the worst and they can't be any more wrong.
Every time I see something about Steven Universe I wonder if it's actually good or just internet good.
Seriously. I like Firefly but GUYS IT WAS NOT THAT GOOD. The most obnoxious thing was when Avengers got big and there was another damn petition to bring it back. Let it go.
Oh, God, did it really? That's criminal, and I don't even dislike Forest Gump.
