Even if she chopped of my thumb
I'd still hit that.

Not a terribly surprising episode
Mostly predictable so far… but we'll see. I agree that the new CTU is probably a little TOO sleek to be an effective base for finding terrorists, but we'll see what develops. After all, any base of investigation has been pretty much proven to be a very dangerous place throughout the

I just came from the Vikings/Cowboys game…
And on the big screen, they showed a Cowboys fan. Naturally, since the game was in Minneapolis, everyone started to boo. Then that same fan held up a cardboard sign that said something to the effect that people should help in the Haiti relief efforts. But people were still

MJK
Is my idol. I don't care if he's a dick. I couldn't care less about an artist's personality, as long as they make great art. Unless you're a relentless self-promoter like Kanye West. Then you're just annoying. At least MJK keeps his dickishness to himself, and the few fans he makes the time to meet. Lighten

I'm a big fan of attractive women wearing not-so-flattering costumes but still looking cute. Few people can pull it off, and Gillian Jacobs is one of them.

Suffers a little from overdrumming
Don't get me wrong, I love the drums, but in the case of this album, I think some of the drum parts are too complex, and tend to distract from the simple beauty of the melodies and lyrics. Otherwise, fantastic album.

I'm not ashamed to admit it
Fahrenheit 9/11 made me cry. Towards the end of the film, it really hits home just how much life has been needlessly wasted by our country's idiotic policies. There's just no atoning for the kind of evil that we're capable of.

TOOL
Should have several songs on this list. Most notably Third Eye, 10,000 Days (Wings Pt. 2), Rosetta Stoned, Reflection… and their cover of Led Zeppelin's No Quarter, which stretched the original song to over 11 minutes long. TOOL have a great way of making a long song somehow not seem like a slog, and their

Kristen Kreuk is hot, and the Street Fighter video games are awesome
That being said, I have no desire whatsoever to see this pile of shit.

Documentaries about spiders and scorpions and crawly things
Scarier to me than any horror movie. Especially if it's in high def.

A conundrum
It'd be nice if Jessica Simpson was dead. Problem is, that wouldn't keep her out of the news (i.e. Anna Nicole Smith).

Not a great movie
But that scene where the farmer (?) shoots the cow (?) in front of a schoolbus full of children was pretty goddamned funny. Forgive me if I'm not recalling the scene correctly; I haven't seen the movie since it came out.

Zodiac Motherfucker
Is half the reason I even read the comments on this site. The other half? My own comments, of course.

I hope you're not being sarcastic, because his portrayal of Bowser, King of Koopas in the Super Mario Bros. movie was pretty goddamned Oscar-worthy.

I think you're missing the point
Wheaties, that is, regular Wheaties, tastes like shit, and gets soggy and inedible after being in milk for more than 30 seconds. If this new cereal is ANY different, it's an improvement.

And also…
When I popped this album in my PC, my Zune software named all the songs and the album exactly like the 2006 album "Pearl Jam". I had to rename them all manually, and download cover art from the internet.

Their best since Yield
IMHO, I think PJ is at their best when their songs are tight and focused, and that's what makes this album great. No jam-band trappings here.

If you want to see a REAL music video genius
Mark Romanek. The best that ever was. I have a DVD collection of his videos, and it just blows me away. He's like the Stanley Kubrick of music videos.

Boognish - Change your own pants.

I think I should change my pants, because…
AV Club has interviewed my favorite person in the world! Granted, no real new info, but I'm an obsessed NIN freak who has read dozen upon dozens of TR interviews. He's simply the most grounded, realistic, insightful artist of my generation. He really IS the David Bowie of
