I'm still digging them drums, man.

The plot may be simple, but it's a beautifully designed/illustrated/colored/scored cartoon. It just looks and feels like a classic. A is fine by me.

Slimy, yet satisfying!

@rabid: yep, you're the only one. That's never been mentioned before.

Any cute actress playing any fictional part ever. I'm easy.

Sam Adams is the best interviewer on the site and has been here for a year or two.

Brazil Two: The Legend of Curly's Oil

I liked this episode, but the chase/obstacle course through the junkyard was awfully uninspired. That could have been a lot of fun and the set piece possibilities should have been endless, but instead they went for cheap and easy.

Who gives a shit as long as they keep coming?

I love Barry Bonds, from the minimalist beat to Wayne's excellent rhymes and delivery.

Big Numbers may not have turned out to be worthwhile, but anything Alan Moore writes may turn out to be one of the best comics ever (and that's not hyperbole), and we never got to find out because of Al Columbia. Fuck that guy.

I tried to watch Fritz this year (it's on netflix instant) and found it to be boring and terrible. His Mighty Mouse runs from decent to great, though.

I just saw Scanners for the first time a few months ago and I loved it. Sure there's some cheesy low budget stuff in it, but it's fun as hell.

I read another McCarthy this year, too. The Crossing. The first 100 pages is an ingenious retelling of Old Man and the Sea as a western. Yeah, Riddley Walker, A Scanner Darkly, and Wrestler's are some of the best books I've read in the last decade. I also loved Cloud Atlas. Great year for WUiB and I can't wait to see what we get into this year.

Cool. I'm gonna check it out.

Spider-Man: Stop! Stop! He's Already Dead.

Avawank, guv'nor.

I heard it was Spew Grit: all reverse cowgirl action on the beach.
