Les Misérables - Loved it!  Anne Hathaway's "I Dreamed a Dream" and Hugh Jackman's final scene had me fighting back tears.

That was the "pigmen" two-parter, right?  Ugh, that was horrible.  It does get better though.

My father read the Earthsea trilogy to me as a child, and I reread it as an adult.  Beautiful story both times.  I made it through about 15 minutes of the inane TV miniseries before shutting it off in anger.
