Under no circumstance should I think that the writers of this show should put them in bed together. As much fun as that would be to see on one level, it would be suicide for the show. OK, sorry to play the gender card, but as a woman I feel that going to bed that quickly with your best male-friend's brother, generally means that you want to go to bed with the male-friend, but can't. Sherlock says that exactly when he finds out about it at first, but the writing never lets the characters explore

Although I adore the actors in this series, I must say that the Mycroft plot line was driving us perilously close to soap opera. If you are going to put so much attention on relationships, you better damn we'll do the hard work of building a solid foundation of real psychology behind that work. Major character
