Oh my God…Dad?

That's right, Waterballoon, the entire population of American bigots is located in West Virginia.

Isn't "Pawn Stars" basically "18 hours with fat, grumpy Hitlers"?

Yes, it's kind of like "noir" in that sense, a style and sensibility.  Having said that, it has been bugging me that everyone, including Bill Paxton in his interview elsewhere on this site, is refering to the Hatfields and McCoys as a western.

Tweed's early 80's Playboy spread was titled "Boss Tweed."  God, she was gorgeous.  Hooray for natural boobies and pubic hair!

I don't think I'd quite call Longmire a Justified ripoff.  It's based on a series of books by Craig Johnson that's been going strong for several years now, though it's likely that Justified's success prompted A&E to take a chance on it.

Come on, Space Ghost, can you ever really have too many pedophiles?

I met Sassoon at a reception for his son when he graduated college about 13 years ago.  He told me I had a "poetic face." I was never sure exactly what that meant, but now, knowing that he was such a badass in his youth, I suddenly feel much cooler telling the story.

"Hex is the Punisher of the WIld West."  Look, Sava, Hex chews up, swallows, and craps out little chunks of punks like the Punisher.

Actually, I think the technical advancements were the best part.  The animation was gorgeous, and the story had certain charms, but really, the usual Disnay crap diminished the story a lot.  How did they deal with the sticky quandry of a white jungle lord in a land of black people?  Why, they just eliminated the black

I loved "Northern Exposure," but man, should they have ever packed it in when Rob Morrow left.  It went straight down the dumper, and the final episode was agony to watch.

"…everybody with a brain went 'aww, turns out this is stupid after all."'

For me, Wizard and Glass is where the series went off the rails.  I felt it was in serious need of good editor and could't finish it.  That was the end of The Dark Tower for me, but I might check this one out.
