His dress looked very '90s to me. Pretty sure I've seen similar versions on Claire Danes ca. Romeo + Juliet and Gwyneth Paltrow ca. The Talented Mr. Ripley.

What's the point of covering "Mr. DNA" without "Smart Patrol"? Or, frankly, what's the point of doing either if you aren't Devo?

I almost missed the terribleness of the dress they put on Mila because I was so distracted by the terribleness of the hair extensions they put on Mila. Then again, the bad hair wasn't that surprising, given that her team was made up of White Girl Dreads and Greasy Rat-tail Danzig.

Get Behind Me Satan is way worse than Icky Thump. To be fair, its highs (The Denial Twist, Doorbell, Blue Orchid) are higher than anything on Icky. But its lows are much, much lower.

Transference worse than Telephono? I don't think Spoon has ever put out a bad album, but Telephono is the weakest because they hadn't quite figured out what they wanted to sound like yet.
Not on YouTube, I don't think, but you can see their performance of "Satisfaction" on SNL here: http://bit.ly/mTtOLl

I like The Byrds, but I think their Dylan covers are one of their weaker spots. Gene Clark's originals all the way!
No. Richard Manuel co-wrote "Tears of Rage" and Rick Danko co-wrote "This Wheel's on Fire," but Dylan wrote "I Shall Be Released" solo.
Move over, Jonathan Fire*Eater!
I agree about the B+ films. My favorite pictures of the year were "Cave of Forgotten Dreams" and "Weekend." Both are great, but they do pale next to last year's favorite ("Carlos") or 2009's ("A Serious Man"!).
Only if there's a real knife sticking out of the actual movie camera.
