If I had a magical time machine that would let me go to any concert ever, if would be the a stop on the Rolling Thunder Revue. Also, the live version of "Isis" that's on "Biograph" is maybe my single favorite Dylan recording.

Glam rock is smut now?

@Chartex - it was the "live in Glasgow" version of "Coming Up" that was the #1 hit, not the studio version. Same thing with "Maybe I'm Amazed."

I've got first, but I'm not a firster.

Score!
That subtitle baffles me. I assumed that every movie at the Toronto Film Festival was a hockey musical.

They're dragging the lake.

"I'm Not There (1956)"?

Actually, there were two scripts for "Lily." It's one of those projects that keeps getting revived then stuck in the Hollywood mire.

Not only will I be seeing the movie
but, since I live in NYC, I will be seeing it with Louis C.K. in person. Suck it, LA and all those other random cities!

Aping Marvin Gaye?
Based on the album's title, it sounds more like they're aping Average White Band.

"My Life is Right" is the best. Big Star have lots of great songs, but that one just seems to be the ultimate encapsulation of the best elements of pop music.

Support good design!
I know nothing about the book or the author apart from what Todd wrote here, but the cover is so gorgeous that I would pick this up regardless.

Annie O'Sullivan and Friends
I think what this book was missing was a loveable tweenage scamp named Helen McKeller.

We should set up a pool for which Talking Heads-referencing title will turn up next. I call "Crosseyed and Painless"!

Yes, both are accepted pronunciations. BAY-nuhl actually precedes buh-NAHL in the Merriam-Webster dictionary.

I've never heard of him
but I'm sure there are many on this site who are real O'Nanists.

"Prodigal Sons" correction
The adopted brother in "Prodigal Sons" is actually the grandson of Orson Welles, via Welles's daughter Rebecca. (That also makes him the grandson of Rita Hayworth.)

What about X/The Knitters?

What mbs said, plus a heaping side of ACCEPT THE MYSTERY.
