The logic in this show is utterly inane. Hopefully stuff gets explained further on, because some of the decisions that Bridget makes are really just ludicrous.

Exactly. These reviews have been some of the best that I've read for AV Summer Club Classic. And I followed a lot this year (Avatar, Alias, Veronica Mars, The Office UK, Cowboy Bebop, Arrested Development). Thank so you much for the wonderfulness!

If the show is so terrible…
… why is it graded with an A? :O

What's everyone's favorite Mandy Moore piece?

Yeah, Steele's chick seems to be already in full-on couple mode. It's kind of hilarious.

I think a lot of us have this digital hoarding compulsion. It's only a pretty recent idea that you can actually "keep" film and TV as you would keep a book. You had the reruns, maybe the rerelease in theaters, and then that was it. If you liked a TV show, and it was canceled/done, that might be the last time you saw

Video Game Hoarding
I don't have the hoarding instinct, except when I'm playing a video game. For some reason, I'm paranoid about using items in my inventory, and I end up stocking up like crazy. It's to the point that the game usually becomes much more challenging because I'm unwilling to sacrifice an item. I have

Fall 2011
I'm curious. What new shows are we referring to that are envelope-pushing for network standards that are debuting this fall? The article mentions that there are some shows lined up for the newest season that are really experimental for the networks, but I can't really think of anything that's extremely

Bromance incoming!
SEMI-SPOILERISH?

Popping the Alias Cherry
First time viewing Alias, and I have to say, the pilot impressed me more than I thought it would. I'm really surprised that it was as complicated as it was - I was expecting the show to just be another generic spy show, with a bit of mythos thrown in for measure.

The word that I'd use for the first two episodes is (even though I hate using it) charming. It's cute, and I'm intrigued, but it definitely feels like a kid show. Not that that's a bad thing, but I'm waiting to see how it'll mature.

Agreed. I'm trying to avert my eyes as much as possible, but if there's one thing I hate the most regarding pop culture, it's spoilers. I wish that there was some way to make the comment text invisible until a mouse-over if there are spoilers involved. I've seen it used on other websites.

Avoiding all the spoilers, but she was pretty much the only character I actively disliked in the pilot. There's just something about the way that she pretended like she was okay with a one night stand situation, then changed her mind and obsessively called Nate/dramatically hung up on Nate/showed up at the

First time watcher!
This is my first time watching SFU, but I can already tell I'm going to love it. I watched the pilot about a year ago, really liked it, but never went any further.

Agreed, Bale. Considering that I just finished watching the last season of Dexter yesterday, and then started in on the pilot, it was a bit odd to see Michael C. Hall in a Dexter/Doakes fan-fic!

He was given the free pass to go to Vegas, but in an EW interview, Mary Murphy pretty much confirmed that he won't be returning to compete. See here: http://insidetv.ew.com/2011…

American Idol and SYTYCD…
… are inverses of each other. I FAR more enjoyed the audition process of AI (back when I used to watch it) than the actual performances. SYTYCD is pretty terrible in the audition process. Once the performance shows kick in, it's smooth sailing from there.
