I've seen a lot of praise for the scene with Dukat talking about his son, but watching little bits from Fascination I stumbled with a hilarious character bit by Odo. Right after the credits, we see him in his office talking to a federation security officer, explaining that he has the habit of radomly dropping by

I hadn't noticed! Great catch.

When I was growing up in the company of TNG like many of us here, I watched it with my family (we ended up all being different degrees of trekkies). In fact, I seem to recall some people complaining when he doesn't show up so often in the later seasons (you can read transcripts of message boards from the time in Memory Alpha). Again, a bit of an unfair comparison, but can you imagine people saying "WE NEED MORE WESLEY!"? Well, maybe now that we know Wheaton is

I also immediately thought about Total Recall, specially with the whole "recording to talk to self" thing. I haven't read the stories, but I agree the nod to the movie has to be intentional.
