I also immediately thought about Total Recall, specially with the whole "recording to talk to self" thing. I haven't read the stories, but I agree the nod to the movie has to be intentional.

For all the talk of the "darkness" of DS9, the early experiments in serialization and everything else that this show brought to the franchise, I always feel little attention is paid to the care in depicting the family relationship between Sisko and his kid (and also -SPOILERS- later on). I know comparing it with

You may have omitted the last indication on the detective's dialog:

I'm totally with you on that one, but I was thinking more along the ways of things that I'd like to see but at the same time think that they have a decent chance of being actually feasible. As much as I'd like to, I can't imagine something like Space Lawyers actually existing, but my klingon idea or

I'm sure by now everyone's heard the rumors about Dorn wanting to do something new with Worf (rumors I'm afraid he's only started to give exposure for his RomCom kicksarter) but that got me thinking: don't you think it would be awesome if Star Trek got a new TV show, but this time about (and from the point of view of)

I'm sorry if I came across pissy, @avclub-2300d8171ca46be1ee5a72d2837c1b6d:disqus, I assure you it was not my intention to do so (that's what the "I don't mean to be negative" tried unsuccessfully to convey). It's just that I personally think that the flaws that you rightfully point out don't really matter that much

In any case, I think it's awesome that they let that point be ambiguous and don't over-explain things even though this is ostensibly a kid's show.

Is it just me, or does anyone else thinks this comment is a little too similar to the ones quoted from old snpp posts in the Simpsons' reviews?

I don't entirely agree with your views on Jessica. I thought the episode showed that she used to be a bit more idealistic (I'm sure that's not the word I'm looking for, but it's late and I wanna go to bed soon), standing up for Hardman as her mentor; but seeing the depths to which he sunk shattered her image of him

Wait, you mean there's people who's *not* in love with Donna?

I'm not so sure it "was all about Louis", as most characters got their due, and specially since we got Donna back! But yeah, it seems hard to remember how I loathed him in his first appearances.
