I seem to remember him already saying that Zoey was his final serious fling before the mother sometime last season, but I could be wrong.

I think that too, and I suppose Quinn is being propped (sp?) up to be a red herring for the wedding at the end of this season.

NPH is the very definition of awesome. And I love that moment too.

But don't you think it was kind of strange that Robin kept living with Ted? Come on, I understand that it feels kind of out the blue this revisiting of old feelings, but as Donna's reviews point out, they are not totally senseless.

I saw it on a 123" screen (we used a projector) and I thought it might be, but it was Standard Def so I wasn't sure.

Actually, they should just give Ty Burrell all of the awards, ever.

What about Terra Naomi, who won a youtube music video of the week or something with an original song, got a record deal and now has an independent career? It might not fit the narrative so well, but she should've been mentioned.

I know, it just seemed appropriate to me to reference an old internet meme for no apparent reason. I have no idea why.

Ah, but the problem with Kevin is not the breakup itself, but the creepiness that preceded it. "Marry me! I love you! Anything else that is too soon to be saying!"

y u no type complt wrds?

I don't think he was suggesting it's a violation, but that Ted may feel like it is nonetheless, and he dismissed it pretty casually. Which would be a fair point if a) he hadn't "broken up" with Barney for a good while because of it and b) Victoria's suggestion at the beginning of this season that that particular story

When did he try to overcome it? I think  he doubled down on that at every turn.

Dammit! This episode has left me with EMOTIONS!

He even got to say goodbye after a ton of inappropriate creepiness, like proposing way too soon, and then proposing way too many times! Perfect fit for the character indeed.

I really like the UN school, specially the motto. Is it just for this episode, or is it always the same? 'Cause I remember it pretty well for it to be a one-time gag.

Except they clearly imply he kinda likes it, like when he waits and poses for the camera. It would seem he prefers that to being neglected, like someone above said.

Do we really need another creepy fandom like Sara Hyland's?

I would watch the hell out of "Star Trek: Space Lawyers", @avclub-86a9ac7667ec45a86614223897b4f765:disqus , so if you direct me to your petition I would gladly sign it. Byans Singer and Fuller are supposedly pitching a new ST show, maybe we can convince the former to trade a medical procedural for a space-legal one?

If there's something more disregarded than science in Star Trek, it's the Law. They purposefully left it muddy on more than one occasion (that is, all of them). But a minor point: Trill might not be a part of the Federation, Dax being a Starfleet officer is no proof of this (see: Nog).

"And that, kids, is how Uncle Barney banged your mother first, and why we have 256 cats."
