I agree, Washington was at her worst here. She made the blank, doe-eyed face over and over again, particularly in the scenes with the parents. She has no range, just a few basic settings for her face and voice.
Oh, no, we're not making two stops.
I don't buy for a minute that Tywin would be sleeping with Shae. That was some lazy-ass storytelling.
Best chef of all time.
Jon gets the lamest manly one-liners. This is tied with "You were right all along," said as he stabbed the warg.
So glad that story's over. I was sick of yelling, "Get your head in the game, Snow" every five minutes.
Oh, Ygritte, you died as lived: uttering your stupid catchphrase.
C'mon, Gemma totally deserved that. She's demonstrated that she would kill Tara to keep her from leaving Charming with the kids. I didn't feel bad for her at all. Agree with Felt Pelt. I liked how the audience shares Piper's initial trust of this guy and then realizes how pathological his seeming kindness was, but the show didn't set him up to be so cold. If anything, I think such a sensitive (in the bad sense) guy would be moved by seeing his little doe in peril and see the…
