What? Seriously?
…I had to google to confirm that, because he is essentially just an ageless Derek Smalls to me. Now I'm bummed out. It says he was in Abbot and Costello films! How'd he get so old all of a sudden? :(

Yikes. I was happier not knowing that.

Kaiser Chiefs felt a lot like a ten-year throwback to me at the time, so maybe see first if mid-90s Britpop starts getting that treatment? I personally hope to god it doesn't because I hated it, but there are people out there who're trying, bless them…There's an indie-ish pub round here that does weekly Britpop

It's like falling into a time hole. A really, really crappy one.

He had a theme park! As anyone foolhardy enough to click on that link might have noticed.

just highlighting that that^ is actually true.

This is what public health PSAs look like in Continental Europe.

That was terrific, in a dreadful kind of way.

I'd watch the hell out of an April 'n' Andy show. If not that, they could use some new blood - there's Craig,I guess, but I'm hoping for the return of Other Ron. Whatever happens, they'll have learned from The Office's mistakes…um, right?

Holy shitsnacks…I shouldn't have read that. But thanks. I was excited before, now I'm also really curious as to whether they'll pull some of the less-promising-on-paper stuff off. I have faith, though.

Those and 'Cartman Gets an Anal Probe', I think. But that was it. I'd defend those early seasons as being a pretty great use of CGI because it's honestly hard to tell.

Maybe a little tenuous, but this is from 'The Day Today' (UK, 1994, Chris Morris, Armando Iannucci, Steve Coogan and others). It's an awkward mockumentary set in an office…

(edit) I had to post that - it's even called 'The Office' - but they did another, better, mini-mockumentary set at a

And now I'm getting horrible flashbacks to that time. Christ, people were even defending 'Flanimals'…I get how he did well here in Britain on the back of one fluke-decent show (we've fallen for worse stuff, I guess) but will never understand how he succeeded in America, or why otherwise smart and discerning people

Only enough to leave some cash for the family. I wonder what happens if you survive.

That actually looks really good, but it seems to be for fancy people, with their smartphones and their money and suchlike. I probably can't play it on a ten-year-old laptop, right? The game here's about as much as it can handle…

NEVER!

It might have been deliberate, given the objective for that part…

Those links in your last sentence - that's all news to me. I'm still reading through them, but the tobacco industry stuff is particularly grim. Thanks, although now my daily Two Minutes Hate is going to run way over schedule…

Is this a thing that exists yet? Because it has to.
