Cuttin-Me-Own-Throat Dibbler doesn't actually mention the frog, I just had to throw that parenthetical in. I'm obsessive.

I can field this one & you might be surprised by how weirdly logical it is.

*punch* Welcome to mirth!

"Hey, Duke, roll that beautiful 'water floating' footage!"

I always thought the monologues were essentially a reverse-punchline. You get to know who wrote, told & held the cue-cards for these jokes in the course of the episode. They're all terrible people (and mostly terrible writers), but Larry can pull it together to sell it live on tape-delay.

My only previous knowledge of this is from the ad campaign on the subway: The family (only the young son & the dog [?] make eye-contact with the viewer) sits C-shaped at a dinner table submerged slightly in water. I thought, "Oh, its a family of mermaids & the son is just finding out! The dog is his familiar!"

But, in many genre pieces, I find the major black character to usually be the smartest, most level-headed guy in the room. And that tends to, weirdly, NOT make him the main character, but some major domo/enabler to a white lead.

It may be not be to your tastes, but I personally believe Ignatiy to be the most similar critic in spirit to Roger Ebert. He takes a movie on its own terms, but couples that with extensive knowledge & connections between style, tropes & creative teams. Of course he has opinions & expectations, but there never seems to

Bill Murray will probably accidentally end up in one of his movies, though, so he's got that going for him.

Those are only Johnny's stereotypically negative qualities, though.

Ian Holm as Doctor Doom, Ian McKellan as Uatu, Christopher Lee as Galactus, Silver Surfer is jointly motion-acted by Ray Park (as the cold herald) & Andy Serkis (after he rebels) but voiced by Peter Serafinowicz (who plays Norrin Radd in flashbacks)

I'm pretty used to Sonic changing throughout the years. He can turn into a werewolf, fall in love with human princesses & stretch his mouth into ever-more ridiculous smirks and its still Sonic (in a way).

"Chris Conley" is the original username of someone here in the boards. S/he really likes Michael Bay.

His chemistry with Jane Lynch would be really something! I'm serious.

Why 1998?

I've said this before, I'll say it again: Matthew Davis.

Yeah, every time I show them to someone, nobody really laughs. A few get deeply obsessed.

It was during the credits, so not exactly an "On the Next…"
