I think that means, "moments done for the sake of entertainment that don't quite make sense when you think about them." Although, given, her speech beforehand is really heartwrenching.

She kinda made this moment magic:
"I'm sorry John, but you're gonna have to run again."
You can usually deduce who's who by listing "People who didn't play the main scientist in 'E.T.'" and "People who did." Peter Gallagher often falls into the former category, while Peter Coyote often falls into the latter
Malice
Peter Gallagher was in that one, although I forget who the hell he actually played. But there's one scene where Bill Pullman comes in, all bloodied up after having killed the Jigsaw Killer. Gallagher goes, "What happened to you??" And Pullman goes, "I just got done beating the shit out of a deeply disturbed…
Even though this movie's serious
Will the flood still be caused by John Goodman?
Another great scene
This bit, at the high school reunion, is a perfect three minutes. You can tell the exact moment the movie changes tone (the film literally changes color).

A Mystery!
The wikipedia article for "Freebie and the Bean" says Stanley Kubrick named it the best film of 1974. Citation unverified. I'm willing to believe that this is true, because that movie is so wonderfully batshit crazy
(regarding 1990's "Navy SEALS") But it was really Gary Goldman. So I had this fascination about why Oldman would go write *this* amidst a bunch of awesome performances. Very trivial, but it's something I'd been wrong about for a decade
For the longest time
I thought Gary Oldman wrote this
"Red Rock West" is freaking awesome. All I have to contribute there
Eric and Julia Roberts' graphs play like a case of sibling rivalry, almost converging on the present day, with "Expendables" just beating "Eat Pray Love"
Yeah, that's right and I'm still wrong. I mixed Dugan up with Steven Brill, the *other* guy who directs Adam Sandler's (slightly better) movies and played the "Barfly."
Dennis Dugan's best work
The Barfly in "Sex Lies and Videotape"
The real mystery is
Who is the "goofus"?
Also a proud owner of the most ridiculous death scene in contemporary film
2003's "Hulk"
Lion King was the first movie I saw in theaters, and it's some kind of awesome
That said, they're gonna lame it up for a new generation of kids if they include that ridiculous, unnecessary Zazu song they put on the DVD
Crazy Chester followed me, and he caught me in the fog
He said, "I will fix your rack, if you take Jack, my dog." I said, "Wait a minute, Chester, you know I'm a peaceful man." He said, "That's okay, boy, won't you feed him when you can."
Whose Line already covered this

Dr. Marvin Monroe
I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!
IF I HAVE TO CHOKE DOWN ONE MORE OF THOSE MOLDY, DISGUSTING CRACKERS - BAM!! WHACK!!
