This is the greatest and best thing that has ever happened.

My main take away from this article is the proper pluralization of Law & Order.
I would have included Martin Sheen and Emilio in The Way. Most of Emilio's work was behind the camera, but I thought it was a really nice take on a complicated father-son relationship.
Rupert Giles' coffee house at the Espresso Pump.
This is my new favorite AV Club interview of all time.
Mimi from The Drew Carey Show. Or Drew Carey for that matter.
It's pretty impressive Cerie held onto her job. Also, surprising that she never just quit. What was Cerie doing there in the first place?
I'm cool with Ellen, but they should have ditched those producers big time.
What was up with the send-ups of other movies, too? The screaming doorbell is 100% Murder by Death, and the British hair band and electric guitar acoustics bit were obviously yanked from Spinal Tap. I assume these were thrown in for nods to Eileen Brennan and Michael McKean respectively, but I personally think Clue…
Nerd alert:
Why'd they use the reprise of Agony instead of the Act I version?
Paul Gross is god-like as Geoffrey. Truly magnificent. His performance in Slings got me to stick with Witches of Eastwick as long as I did. (Oof.)
Todd, if you haven't already, you've got to read up on Wittgenstein's Game Theory. Too bad the kid in the movie says "Pocahontas".
"I'm gifted in other ways."
I think of this as Abed's "Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock Holmes" moment.
It has been years now since I've bothered to watch an episode of Glee, but I do love me some VanDerWerff reviews!
I don't think that the results of the psych tests revealed at the end of the Halloween episode proves that Abed is sane. It just proves that Abed was the only one capable of predicting which answers would yield a "sane" result, which is pretty much in line with his character's M.O.
Feelin' the love, VanDerWerff! Thanks for keeping the Community fire burning!
Amen.
