The Beverly Hillbillies was a fucking genius show. I have a hard time choosing between that and the Dick Van Dyke Show. Just masterful TV comedy.

Brent was over at my studio this week (He's guesting on my next record I'm excited to say) and said that they were rehearsing up to 12 hour days.

I saw a Mats show where they played about 90 minutes and the whole thing was  2 minute snippets of songs they didn't know.

I saw NRBQ play a 30 minute version of Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald for their second set and then do the entire thing again as the encore.

I REALLY like this bad. Someday they are going to do something that pushes them over the top and they will be great. I hope.
