Gonna have to agree. Peter Scolari and Julia Duffy were so much better.

There was an episode where some douchebag apparently won the first two rounds and thought he could coast through the dessert round. He made a competent but uninspired dessert. He lost.

As someone who read all the books several times, long before the movie came out, all I can say is: Master and Commander (the movie) can go jump in a fire and die a slow agonizing death.

The Fisher King is great, it's my favorite Gilliam film. You should definitely check it out, it certainly takes you on quite a journey.

Well the contestants are judged entirely on the food they prepare, how it got on the plate is irrelevant. A slow service with good food would be better than a fast service with poor food. (Though given two equally good dishes, the slow service one might lose out because of it).

I think it's above average. Not a top tier show, but at the top of the second tier. The Wire, Deadwood, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, The Sopranos, are all superior in pretty much every way.
