Who do YOU think should have final say whether a movie gets made or not? If I have the money or the will to make a movie, I can make whatever I damn well please. Who cares who likes it or who asked for it?

Weren't there different cuts of the movie? I thought there was a more violent one shown in Europe, and the PG-13 one shown in the US had cut most of the torture scene and reduced the bloodshed somewhat.

He was also pretty good in Carlito's Way and Falcon and the Snowman. Though I've never understood his appeal either.

I would say Jack Cassidy was just as good. McGoohan had that one terrible episode ("tisnt") while Cassidy's were all watchable.

I think it's a good bet Malcolm won't make it.
"You will be done. I will walk on."

As far as Jimmy Stewart westerns go, The Naked Spur is pretty great, but Winchester 73 is even better.

The judge didn't say that under oath, it was supposedly the deputy DA, testifying several years later.

The judge was under no legal or moral obligation whatsoever to accept the plea agreement as it stood.

I remember being pretty bummed out when I heard Silva was killed (while working on UHF, I believe). His character was pretty memorable, and played a big part in 'Trial by Fury'. Like Michael Conrad, his loss was dearly felt.

Who is this Whitey guy you keep talking about? Whitey Ford? Whitey Bulger? Whitey Herzog?

Yeah they're pretty funny movies, if a little dated. If I remember correctly Richard Pryor and Flip Wilson are in Uptown. Let's Do it Again was better and had Jimmie Walker. There was also a third one (A Piece of the Action), which surprisingly, wasn't terrible, but not as good as the first two.

As someone mentioned before, Gleason's character is actually absolutely right in his skepticism. And he has some pretty funny lines. I thought the FBI guys were over the top stupid, though.

I remember when Die Hard was originally released. Some friends and I were on vacation, and we decided to see a movie. We narrowed down the choices to either Die Hard or Willow. My friends thought Die Hard looked stupid, so we saw Willow instead. We're still friends, though.

Irons' American accent is terrible, though.

Not everything is golden, though. I remember his Mac and Cheese, and Spaghetti sauce weren't that great.

Also his Once and Future Beans are the best baked beans ever.

In the doc it straight up says that she gave him the pills which killed him, though they don't mention her by name.

Michelangelo is a simpleton?

True, that fight is certainly more formal and stylized, though it does get a little silly at times. The latter scene is just two guys kicking the shit out of each other. Provides an interesting contrast.

Fist of Legend also had that tacked on romantic subplot which sort of brought the movie to a halt at times.
