Wow I thought I was pretty good at picking up subtle things but I completely missed these clues explaining the Hound's freeze when confronted by charging-burning-guy. Thanks to those who pointed these out.

I don't get it why people are freaking out over one letter, B. I never even pay attention to the letter grades. If I only want to read things I agree with I will just read my own writing. People are different and have differing viewpoints.

I would just point out that in Japanase swordmaking lore a samarai sword, which is much lighter than a medieval sword, is considered useless if it can't sever a man with one blow. They used to practice using corpses and a good sword wielded with skill would cut through more than one body.

I'm a stickler for realism and I didn't have any problem with it. What did you think was fake-ish (other than Tyrion's wound)?

It raised it a notch for me. Nothing like a good old fashioned limb-severing, torso-chopping, face-spearing, boulder-head-smashing good time. Although I agree Tyrion's wound was like WTF? when his head didn't move in two different directions and then looked like just a cut afterwards.

No kidding, the Hound is my new favorite character. What's not to like about someone who inflicts one-handed disembowlments, multiple whole-body dismemberments AND tells Joffrey to get fucked?
