There's no such thing as Talib Island, that's all you really need to know. Having watched Talib's embarrassing meltdown in the Panther's game while trying to cover Steve Smith, I could tell that guy was a wannabe #1 DB. Good riddance. At least he pointed the Pats towards signing LaGarrett Blount, though.

I hadn't even entertained the scenario that the Yankees could contend for the AL East this year. Their "spending spree" sucked (Japanese pitcher, creaky Ellsbury, and creaky Beltran), and they still have one of the worst infields in the majors. I project 3rd place in the division.

Non-experience of the material is just as credible as experiencing the material… you'd fit right in as a character of the show you deride.

If you paused it right there, you missed my favorite part.

As a courtesy for the next person who happens upon the house and wants to use it for shelter.

And because it's so cold out, they can only hold hands mitten-to-glove. That was one of my favorite visual details of the episode.

I've found that it's best to recommend the 2nd or 3rd best tidbit of whatever thing you're trying to hook your friends onto - or better yet, a good-not-great moment that is both standalone and inspires curiosity. That way, your friend builds their own relationship with the material while still getting blown away by

The brilliance of the childhood line was how the show made zero attempt on behalf of the audience to parse how sarcastic it was. It just moved on to the next thing and left that moment of surrealism to just hang there.

And the name of this show? …it was EARTH!

Life is effort and I'll stop when I'm dead!

I definitely was close to putting the game away for good in the first infected encounter, but I'm very glad I stuck through and beat the thing. I died there dozens of times until I stopped trying to micro-manage my stealth and resources and just embraced chaos - frantically throwing bricks, sprinting away from

Can I ask what you're getting out of multiple play-throughs of The Last of Us? I just finished hard mode and am debating whether to start up a new game+, but it's kind of a heavy story to experience more than once.

Nobody who attended his billiards showdown in season 1 has to take his word for it.

The last season of Eastbound & Down was a great showcase for the sincere Tim.

Britta was already in the process of winning right before everyone deleted the app.

You were talking about it there just now, so I guess so.

And frustrated Adam tossing the phone into the plant afterward like, Blaah.

I would like my surgeon to have situational awareness…

I don't doubt that's true. My point, though, is that if that's how DiCaprio and Scorsese wanted to portray Belfort, then the role had a much lower degree of difficulty than what would warrant an Oscar nomination.

Yeah, I don't think Leo brought out anything all that interesting in the Belfort character. He came off kind of one-dimensional in how he succumbed to temptations of more money, better drugs, hotter women, more adoration. He looked like a guy having an awesome time with his bros without ever revealing another side to
